WebRuby Beach, also part of Olympic National Park, is located along Highway 101 south of the small town of Forks. The rocky beach has beautiful sea stack formations and is very photogenic. To reach the beach visitors can hike a 1.4 miles long loop trail. The trail is kid friendly and good for families. WebHighway 101 actually does a full loop around Olympic National Park, but since this is a coastal road trip guide, we are focusing on the western portion. From Port Angeles there are many opportunities to explore the national park including an alpine drive, hot springs, and rainforest hikes.
