WebThere are a lot of rock art sites. Some of the dry lakes are good for spotting meteorites. We do have a lot of sandstone formations containing enough Iron to make them red but that is entirely visual and not collectible. I'd recommend the valley of fire for that. . You could take a day trip to the grand canyon. Day trip to Death Valley.
