WebFeb 9, 2015 · FaceTime doesn't go full screen on my Mac desktop. I am running version 10.9.5. Last time I used FaceTime I could make the picture go to the full size of my Mac (21in) but now it is not even half that and I don't have the option (two expander arrows) to take it to full screen. WebMar 25, 2024 · Prior to a call being connected, the options under FaceTime > Video will remain greyed out. Once you're on the call, you can put the whole FaceTime app into full screen, or you can change the orientation of your camera so the other person will either see you in landscape or portrait mode.

WebI used an apple branded adapter from lightning to hdmi and plugged directly into hdmi 1. The FaceTime call only appears on a small portion at the center of the tv screen. Other apps will appear full screen but not a FaceTime call. I have also attempted this via screen mirroring with an Apple TV with the same results. Is this possible?
